    Research Interests

    Valerie joined the group in March ’15. She explores a new approach for local delivery of therapeutic proteins after systemic administration for treatment of inflammatory diseases. The proteins of interest are site-specifically modified (PEGylation and introduction of a protease-sensitive peptide sequence) to be specifically cleaved and released by upregulated enzymes at the site of inflammation.
