    Research Interests

    Marco joined the group in April 2015. He aims to improve solubility and dissolution rate of poorly water soluble pharmaceutic ingredients by converting them into ionic liquids. Part of his work is the development of formulations for ionic liquids which can be used in in vivo studies. Furthermore, he focuses on the research of new ionic liquids which show photoinduced phase transition in order to tune pharmaceutical properties.
