    The dissertation of Alexandra Braun was awarded excellent by the Lower Franconian “Gedenkjahrstiftung” for Science and the University of Würzburg.

    Dr. Alexandra Braun (front row, 4th from right) wrote her dissertation entitled "Bioresponsive delivery of anticatalytic and anabolic agents for muscle regeneration using bioinspired strategies".

    For more than 50 years outstanding doctoral theses have been honored annually at the foundation festival.

    Prerequisite: The work must deal thematically with Lower Franconia and / or be written by persons who grew up in the region or have been living here for a long time.

    The doctoral prizes of the Lower Franconian Memorial Science Foundation and the University of Würzburg are endowed with 500 euros.

    Traditionally, the prizes are presented at the foundation ceremony of the university. Lower Fraconian President Eugen Ehmann as Chairman of the Foundation's Board and University President Alfred Forchel presented the awards on 13 May 2019 to 20 laureates.
