    Research Interests

Katharina joined the group in October '15. Her research focuses on the development of a bio-responsive diagnostic system of protease profiles in osteoarthritic joints. The aim is to develop a bioconjugate containing anisotopically labelled peptide (mass tag) which is attached to a protease-sensitive linker. The mass tag is cleaved in inflammatory tissue and can be detected from blood by tandem mass spectrometry.
